US District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers dealt with a long list of pre-trial motions during a lengthy hearing, ranging from efforts by the defendants to strike the testimony of Musk’s damages expert, to Musk’s bid to limit the defendants from including “extraneous and inflammatory evidence” about the billionaire and his companies.In grappling with issues ranging from Elon Musk’s damage claims of up to $135 billion against OpenAI and Microsoft to the admissibility of testimony that artificial intelligence could wipe out humanity, a California federal judge has begun to shape the boundaries of a Silicon Valley trial that will feature the testimony of three tech CEOs....
