Xandr says privacy suit misuses DOJ data-transfer rule

( March 13, 2026, 22:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Xandr Inc. asked a US federal judge to dismiss a proposed privacy class action accusing its advertising software of secretly collecting users’ browsing data for Chinese e-commerce platform Temu. Xandr argues that the complaint improperly tries to apply wiretapping laws to routine online advertising practices and fails to show any interception of communications or collection of identifiable personal information. The lawsuit also fails to allege any violation of the Bulk Data Transfer Rule, Xandr claims.See attached motion....
