The plans also set out independence criteria for experts, introduces five-year limitation periods for fines and enforcement, and would guarantees providers at least 14 days to respond to preliminary findings.The European Commission would be able access the internal workings of general-purpose AI models, including weights and hosting infrastructure, and also inspect and modify system state interaction, under planned procedures for enforcing the EU's landmark AI law....
