The state law intended to protect the privacy and online safety of minors on social media and gaming platforms will now face another round of challenges by tech industry group NetChoice before a federal district court judge, even as California Attorney General Rob Bonta called the decision “a critical win."A federal appeals court lifted an injunction on much of the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act Thursday while leaving in place an injunction against the law’s data use and dark patterns restrictions, meaning additional hard-fought litigation over the law lies ahead....
