Samsung SDS consortium advances in bid to run South Korea AI computing hub project

The consortium plans to build the facility in Haenam, South Jeolla Province, and secure 15,000 advanced AI semiconductors by 2028. A consortium led by Samsung SDS has been designated as the preferred negotiating partner to establish and operate South Korea’s national artificial intelligence computing center, a key project in the country’s efforts to significantly enhance its AI capacity....
