Essential Utilities must produce discovery materials, Pennsylvania ALJ says

( March 9, 2026, 15:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An administrative court reviewing American Water's proposed acquisition of Essential Utilities has granted a motion by intervenors in the review process to compel production from Essential Utilities. ALJ Emily DeVoe of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission said Essential must provide all the discovery materials that were provided to the statutory parties within three days of the order. The motion had been filed by intervenors Delaware County, the City of Butler, East Whiteland Township, North York Borough, York Township, Spring Garden Township, West Manchester Township and Manchester Township. See file attachment. ...
