Meta leads industry in detecting child sexual abuse material, expert tells N.M. court

She said no company does more than Meta to proactively detect child sexual abuse material on its services.Meta runs “what is probably the single most effective anti-child sexual abuse material program in the world,” said Mary Wirth, a trust and safety expert who took the stand in Meta’s defense on Thursday in New Mexico’s case accusing Meta of deceiving the public about the risks its platforms posed to teens....
