Aramark slip-up gives UK competition court a chance to dust off deadline rulebook

The Competition Appeal Tribunal has to be satisfied that there were exceptional circumstances for the delay. And even if it is successful, it's possibly an even bigger hurdle to get the court to overturn the Competition and Markets Authority’s decision.Aramark has a high hurdle to clear to persuade UK antitrust judges to allow an appeal against a merger block that was filed too late. And if it is successful, another hurdle looms in trying to overturn the regulator’s decision that the deal had to be unwound....
