North American Construction's bid for mining services supplier reviewed in Australia

( February 27, 2026, 01:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: North American Construction Group’s proposed acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Iron Hire and DCL Corp, trading as Iron Mining Contracting, under a share purchase agreement via NACG WA Acquisition will be reviewed by the Australian competition regulator. In a statement on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said NACG is a Canadian supplier of mining and heavy civil construction services to customers in in Canada, the US and Australia. The regulator said Iron Mining Contracting and Iron Hire supply mining services and civil construction services in the state of Western Australia.
