SF Holding should be fined for non-approved acquisition, Austrian watchdog says

( February 26, 2026, 11:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: SF Holding should be fined €380,000 for buying Odörfer Eisenwaren without regulatory approval, Austria's competition authority said it asked the national competition-specialist tribunal last week. SF Holding had reported the violation to the Austrian Federal Competition Authority, cooperated fully, and submitted an admission of liability to settle the issue amicably, the watchdog said in a statement on Thursday. The deal was cleared in 2024 as it didn't raise any competition issues. Statement follows (in German)...
