Civilmart's proposal to acquire Taylex to be reviewed in Australia

( February 26, 2026, 06:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by CTC Precast, trading as Civilmart, to acquire 100 percent of the issued share capital in Taylex Group Holding will be reviewed by Australia’s antitrust watchdog. In a statement on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Civilmart is owned by CRH Infrastructure Products Australia, which in turn is owned by CRH plc, a global supplier of building materials and infrastructure products. The statement said Taylex, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, manufactures and supplies active wastewater-treatment systems, septic tanks and rainwater tanks in Australia. The regulator added that both Civilmart and Taylex supply concrete active wastewater-treatment systems and associated products across Australian states including New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.Statement follows.
