US finds subsidies provided to three countries making solar cells

( February 25, 2026, 18:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Commerce said in a preliminary determination that subsidies are provided to solar cell producers from Laos, Indonesia and India. Commerce also said most Indonesian producers and two Indian companies surged imports after the government began the investigation. Commerce assigned a 104.38 percent subsidy rate to all Indonesian producers except two with specific rates, a 80.67 percent rate to all Lao producers and a 125.87 percent rate to Indian producers.See attached notices....
