EU energy package presentation postponed to May 19, Commission diary shows

( February 25, 2026, 10:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Presentation of the EU's energy package, which includes measures to strengthen energy security, an electrification plan, and a heating and cooling strategy, has been postponed to May 19, the European Commission's schedule shows. The diary dated Feb. 22 also shows the Industrial Accelerator Act is due to be presented on March 4, and the REPowerEU proposal to phase out Russian oil imports is set for April 15. The Liste des points prévus is in the attached files....
