UK Tesla ruling sets EU filing date as start point for bad faith considerations

The ruling is part of a long-running battle over the “Tesla” trademark in the UK and EU.On Monday the UK High Court allowed an appeal by Parabolica, which manages and enforces trademarks, against a decision by a registrar at the UK Intellectual Property Office who upheld an opposition by Czech manufacturer Tesla to Parabolica’s attempt to trademark the word “Tesla” in the UK....
