In a statement over the weekend, South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said the group will focus on areas including artificial intelligence, research security, telecommunications innovation, biotechnology, quantum technologies, space and basic research. The working group will include government officials and experts from both countries, with the US State Department and South Korea’s science ministry leading coordination.
