Former DAAG Alford says HPE Tunney Act deposition should focus on his time at DOJ

Alford and Hewlett Packard Enterprise are embroiled in a Tunney Act discovery dispute stemming from the US Department of Justice’s merger settlement with HPE and Juniper. At issue is whether Alford should be forced to testify about speeches he gave after he was fired from the DOJ in July 2025, and if his deposition can be postponed from Feb. 23 to March 12.
