Hg Capital's proposal to acquire Onestream triggers Australian review

( February 20, 2026, 06:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by private equity company Hg Pooled Management, trading as Hg Capital, to acquire 100 percent of OneStream and OneStream Software through a special purpose vehicle, Onward AcquireCo, will be reviewed by the Australian antitrust regulator. In a statement published on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Hg Capital is a private equity company investing in Europe and the US.. The statement said that Hg Capital's portfolio companies provide enterprise-performance management software in Australia. The statement added that OneStream is a software provider offering a platform that unifies an enterprise's core financial functions and broader operations data and processes.
