Salesforce-Qualified merger notified in Australia following waiver refusal

( February 19, 2026, 07:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Salesforce’s proposed acquisition of US-based Qualified.com will be reviewed by the Australian competition regulator following the watchdog’s refusal to grant a waiver. In a statement published on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said both Salesforce and Qualified supply conversation-automation solutions for business-to-business uses, which integrate with Salesforce’s customer relationship management software. The regulator said Salesforce proposes to acquire all of the outstanding voting securities of Qualified. In January, the regulator refused the notification-waiver application, finding that the extent of the parties’ ability or incentive to foreclose rivals required further consideration.Statement follows.
