South Korean official calls for electricity-policy reform to boost AI capabilities

Kim Yong-beom, presidential chief of staff for policy, also said in a social-media post on Tuesday that the architecture of the power grid, not algorithms, will determine whether South Korea emerges as a country that produces artificial intelligence or becomes one that imports it. “The essence of the AI war is not code, but electricity.
