UK to require platforms to remove non-consensual intimate images within 48 hours

It warns that failure could lead to fines of up to 10 percent of global revenue or blocking in the UK. In a statement on Wednesday evening, the UK government said it also wants regulator Ofcom to evaluate mandating hash-matching technology so that images flagged once can be automatically removed across platforms.Statement follows....
