No platform, AI chatbot will get ‘free pass’ on safety, UK prime minister says

Ahead of that, the government will attempt legislation to make AI chatbot operators comply with illegal-content duties under the Online Safety Act and to increase requirements for platforms to preserve data after the death of a child.
