CVS Group-Pittwater Animal Hospital deal to be reviewed by Australian watchdog

( February 13, 2026, 05:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by CVS Vets (Australia) to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Pittwater Animal Hospital will be reviewed by the Australian competition regulator. In a statement on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said CVS Vets (Australia) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS (Australia) Holdings, which is part of CVS Group Plc. It added that in Australia, CVS Group owns a number of veterinary practices across various states including Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. The statement said that Pittwater Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary practice in Warriewood in the Northern Beaches region in Sydney, Australia.
