Calif. antitrust chief details filing processes, fees for new mini-HSR law

Governor Gavin Newsom signed California’s premerger notification bill, SB25, into law Monday; it requires companies to file their Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filing forms with the state attorney general’s office if they meet the minimum federal threshold and file Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings, and have a principal place of business in California or net sales of 20 percent of the HSR threshold for goods and services in California.California plans to create a filing system and charge filing fees in accordance with its new premerger notification law, Senior Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust Paula Blizzard said....
