Malaysian appeal tribunal affirms MyCC fine decision in chicken-feed cartel case

( February 12, 2026, 01:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Malaysia’s Competition Appeal Tribunal has unanimously upheld the Malaysia Competition Commission’s 415.5 million ringgit ($3.9 million) fine decision against four poultry-feed producers for price fixing, dismissing all appeals. The tribunal found strong evidence that the companies coordinated chicken feed-price increases between January 2020 and June 2022, breaching Section 4 of the Competition Act 2010. It affirmed that the penalties were lawful and proportionate, and rejected claims of due process violations, reinforcing MyCC’s enforcement powers.Statement follows....
