Executive pleaded guilty to $8.5 million in rigged US military contracts, US DOJ says

( February 10, 2026, 18:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An executive at a metal fabrication and manufacturing company pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to rig bids for maintenance, repair, and operations contracts affecting US military installations which earned his company more than $8.5 million in rigged procurements, the US Department of Justice said in a statement. According to the plea agreement filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Thomas C. Rollins, of Wilmington, North Carolina, conspired with other individuals and companies to suppress and eliminate competition by rigging bids for the procurements administered by the Defense Logistics Agency which were awarded to subcontractors through a competitive bidding process. Rollins engaged in the conduct between at least 2015 and 2022, the DOJ said.Statement follows below. See attached file....
