Indonesia fines Intilab for obstructing rival, trade secrets misuse

( February 10, 2026, 03:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Indonesian Competition Commission has fined PT Inti Surya Laboratorium, better known as Intilab, and two of its executives a combined 6.7 billion rupiah ($399,000) for colluding to obstruct the business activities of rival PT Laboratorium Medio Pratama, both of which provide environmental testing and data analysis laboratory services. In a statement on Monday, the regulator said the company and executives committed multiple violations, including the unauthorized use of trade secrets, holding overlapping positions that created conflicts of interest, revoking accreditation and taking over assets in ways that directly disrupted Medio Pratama’s operations. The commission said the conduct caused significant harm to Medio Pratama, including the loss of key documents, potential market share and estimated financial losses of 13.12 billion rupiah.Statement follows (in Indonesian)....
