Connecticut releases annual data protection enforcement report

"The CTDPA has been in effect for two years, but many complaints still involve consumers’ unsuccessful attempts to exercise data rights, including the right to delete. While we seek to help Connecticut residents with these complaints, our efforts are sometimes frustrated by businesses’ failure to maintain an active privacy email address or other mechanism to respond promptly to consumer issues," the report said.See attached report....
