TikTok faces amended child safety allegations from Texas AG

( February 4, 2026, 16:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Texas attorney general has filed a second amended petition in its lawsuit claiming TikTok misrepresented its platform as appropriate for kids as young as 12 or 13. The attorney general said TikTok asserted that profanity, sexual content, drugs, alcohol, and mature themes were only “infrequent” or “mild" and "pursued innovative design features that keep young eyes glued to the screen."See attached motion....
