US FTC's antitrust suit over Deere repair restrictions stayed

( February 2, 2026, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Federal Trade Commission antitrust litigation against Deere & Co. has been stayed due to a lapse in government funding for the agency, an Illinois federal judge said in an order. The FTC's case, which parallels a separate class action over similar repair restriction practices, is "hereby stayed until Congress appropriates funds permitting the Federal Trade Commission to resume normal operations," US District Judge Iain Johnston said in an order filed in the Northern District of Illinois.See attached documents....
