EU far from security targets for critical raw materials, audit report says

( February 2, 2026, 17:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The EU needs to diversify its imports of critical raw materials, boost domestic production and use its resources more efficiently, according to a report by the European Court of Auditors published on Monday. Ten critical raw materials are fully imported, while another 10 are not recycled at all. “Many strategic projects will struggle to secure their supply of critical raw materials by 2030,” the court said.See the report attached below....
