Grok ban remains on table, but UK regulator warns of ‘high bar’ for court action

Officials told an audience in Edinburgh that the probe centers on whether X properly assessed the risks linked to Grok’s image editing features.UK online safety regulator Ofcom said Tuesday it will not shy away from seeking the most disruptive enforcement measures under the Online Safety Act — including asking a court to block a service in the UK — as it investigates X over misuse of its Grok AI chatbot. But it warned that such action would require a high bar to be cleared to avoid any judicial challenges....
