Telcos asked by UK regulator how AI can improve their services, benefit customers

Ofcom said its six-week consultation seeks input on how AI tools are deployed, the opportunities and risks to AI adoption, and whether the regulator needed to change its rules to support innovation or protect consumers. The regulator said it was keen to hear from a range of stakeholders, including telecoms providers, third-party developers, consumer organizations, and researchers.
