European agency investigating Russia sanctions breaches with vehicle exports

( January 26, 2026, 17:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A suspected breach of sanctions against Russia involving the export of cars is under investigation by the European Anti-Fraud Office, or OLAF. The investigation was opened following information provided by Polish authorities who identified suspicious exports of used vehicles from several EU member states, the agency said in a statement. Although the vehicles were declared as destined for Turkey, evidence suggested the vehicles were sent to Russia.  Statement follows....
