43% of Australian government agencies don't mention automated decision-making: Report

In a statement published on Wednesday, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner said its report on automated decision-making and public reporting under the Freedom of Information Act, recommended that all agencies publish information on whether or not they use ADM to provide information and services to the public. The regulator said agencies should clearly state the types of ADM they use, including simple calculators to machine learning, not just artificial intelligence.Statement and report attached....
