US tariffs threat a 'damaging escalation' for all, Germany industry says

The threat puts trans-Atlantic relations under ''enormous pressure,'' and Berlin, together with EU partners, is right to make clear that it won't accept it. Considerations on counter-tariffs or use of the EU anti-coercion tool are plausible, the BDI said.
