​European telcos set to see EU bill on spectrum harmonization, unlimited licenses

Telecom companies were optimistic that the Digital Networks Act would include ambitious plans to deregulate markets and to revamp telecom governance structures, but these proposals have been scaled back after intense lobbying by EU governments, national regulators and consumer groups.Deutsche Telekom, Orange and Telefónica will face a revamp of EU telecom rules, to be presented next week, that focuses on reducing regulatory burdens and harmonizing spectrum auctions, according to an early draft of a telecom bill obtained by MLex....
