Chile's FNE moves ski resort merger review to phase 2 over competition concerns

MCP, which controls Valle Nevado and La Parva, seeks decisive influence over Andacor, raising concerns of market concentration that could lead to higher prices and reduced quality in ski services across the Metropolitan Region and nearby areas. The competition regulator cited unilateral horizontal risks and barriers to entry, noting that mitigation measures offered in Phase 1 were insufficient.
