France to put supply of critical minerals at top of G7 agenda

Finance ministers from 11 countries, along with the EU, discussed rare earth and critical mineral supply chains in Washington, with several countries open to tools such as price floors to support local producers and reduce dependency on China.France will make securing the supply of critical raw materials a top priority as it prepares to steer the agenda of the G7, amid growing concern over Western dependence on China for strategic minerals....
