Singapore opens consultation on SP Mobility–Strides YTL EV charging deal

The watchdog said the companies overlap in the supply of public and private EV charging points in Singapore, but argue the deal would not substantially lessen competition given multiple rivals, competitive tendering and low switching costs. The CCS is seeking feedback on charging behavior, substitutability between different types of chargers, and the potential impact on availability, pricing and quality.
