Five more Italian military suppliers lose appeals to bid-rigging fines

( December 30, 2025, 10:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Five more Italian military suppliers have lost their legal challenges to a 2023 decision by the national competition authority to fine them for cartel agreements as part of tenders organized by naval defense unit Aresenale di Taranto. The five companies are Officine Jolly, Maren, Electra, Omega Engineering Marine and Comes. In rulings issued in October and published recently, the Administrative Court in Rome dismissed all appeals. In November, the same court issued verdicts rejecting similar appeals by several businesses including Consorzio Navalmeccanico Taranto and Siples.The rulings are attached (in Italian). ...
