( December 30, 2025, 08:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Vietnam Competition Commission on late Monday requested a meeting with VNG Corporation, the developer behind the country’s most-used messaging application Zalo, over the app's recent request to users to accept its terms of service updates. The new terms enable Zalo to collect users' personal data, including ID numbers and personal images, and share them among VNG subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
