China streamlines antidumping expiry notifications ahead of second-half 2026 deadlines

( December 29, 2025, 09:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s trade remedies authority is notifying interested parties of antidumping measures due to expire between July 1 and Dec. 31, 2026, and will no longer issue separate expiry notices for individual cases, according to a notice from the Ministry of Commerce on Monday. The authority said the only measure expiring during this period is antidumping duties on polyamide-6,6 imported from the US, first imposed in October 2009 and set to expire on Oct. 12, 2026. Antidumping duties generally lapse after five years unless a review finds that ending them would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping. Domestic industries or their representatives may apply in writing for an expiry review up to 60 days before the measures lapse. Absent an application or a self-initiated review by the authority, the duties will end automatically on expiry.The statement follows, and the form for the expired antidumping measure is attached (Chinese)....
