Amazon gets Subspace's US monopolization claims dismissed

( December 22, 2025, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: While Subspace alleges that Amazon “acted with specific intent to monopolize and harm competition in the market for low latency network optimization services within the [Amazon Web Service] Network,” it makes no such allegation as part of its claim that Amazon attempted to monopolize the cloud-computing market, a US federal judge ruled. District Judge Tana Lin granted a motion to dismiss antitrust claims, finding that Subspace has not adequately pleaded the existence of the relevant market for low-latency network optimization services, and while Subspace successfully defines a market for cloud-computing, it only pleads general intent to monopolize, which is not sufficient.See attached file. ...
