Meta loses 11-year landmark data access case in Austria

( December 18, 2025, 16:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Meta lost the landmark case against Max Schrems, the founder of the privacy group NOYB, the Austrian Supreme Court said on Thursday. After an 11-year legal battle, Meta must disclose all personal data it ever collected of the user within the next 14 days, including its sources, recipients, and processing purposes, the court ordered.
