US service university authors to gain new copyright protections under NDAA

The move expands an effort launched in 2019 to improve the quality of service academy education.Civilian faculty at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences will now own the copyright to their original works of authorship under an amendment to the Copyright Act included in the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA....
