BT Luxembourg's bid for Smit Lamnalco businesses approved in Papua New Guinea

In a statement on Tuesday, the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission said the transaction would involve a restructuring of ownership in Smit Lamnalco Projects and Smit Lamnalco Towage within the Boluda Group and not have any “serious” consequences on the current structure and condition of the market in which the companies operate. Smit companies were registered in the country, where they provide terminal services, towing, berthing and mooring services.
