In an announcement on Monday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that following the acquisition, Danone Asia will have a 51 percent interest in Danone Saputo Dairy Australia. The statement said Danone Saputo Dairy Australia is a joint venture between Danone and Saputo to manufacture and supply wholesale fresh dairy products in Australia.
