CVS tells US appeals court pharmacies' antitrust claims belong in arbitration

( December 10, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Caremark told a US appeals court that all pharmacies’ tying claims were properly sent to arbitration by a lower court. It said that plaintiffs accrued over $70 million in reimbursements from Caremark, all contingent on the promise that they would arbitrate any disputes, Caremark accepted those terms while believing that arbitration would reduce the cost and increase the speed of resolving any issues between the parties, and Caremark has held its end of the bargain.
