US House Democrats launch 2026 commission on AI and the 'innovation economy'

Ted Lieu of California, Rep. Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey and Rep. Valerie Foushee of North Carolina. Last Congress's Bipartisan House Task Force on AI has been "abandoned" by Republicans, Jeffries said in a statement.
