Klimenka moves US judge to compel production of IRS report on BTC-e

( October 31, 2025, 22:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Lawyers for Aliaksandr Klimenka, a Belarusian man accused by the US of helping to run the BTC-e online money-laundering platform, are asking a federal judge to compel the government to produce evidence from an IRS investigation into BTC-e by the US attorney in the Southern District of New York. "Mr. Klimenka respectfully moves this Court to order the government to produce discovery from the SDNY investigation into who controlled BTC-e, and to produce the materials that led the SDNY investigation to conclude that people other than Mr. Klimenka controlled it, contrary to the Indictment’s allegations against Mr. Klimenka here," lawyers for Klimenka told US District Judge Susan Illston.See attached document....
